Kindle & The Playboys' fourth LP recorded at the historic OK Theater in Enterprise, OR by Bart Budwig and co-produced by the fifth Playboy Thomas Paul. "Roaming Charges" is a spacious, high desert rock album that is equally influenced by Neil Young, Giant Sand, and Heatmiser, and thematically touches upon finding a sense of community and belonging amidst the anxiety of a decaying, rural American West. The guitars are fuzzy and reverb-drenched, the monolithic drums pulverize, and freight train whistles weave from track to track.
